- Our helicopters are outfitted with forward-mounted booms, booms are mounted in front of the landing gear and fuselage to get your product down ahead of any interference or updrafts. You may have noticed the effect the sprayer and its tires have on the spray pattern behind a rear-mounted boom sprayer, and even behind the tires of a front boom ground rig. Getting your product down ahead of the aircraft makes the most of every drop.
